Dorian d'Amore is a French photographer based in Marseille. He is developing a deeply humanist documentary practice, at the crossroads of portraiture, street photography and reportage, with an eye always on social, identity and human issues. His approach is guided by a keen observation of reality and a sincere curiosity about other people.

Through his projects, he seeks to better understand humanity, to document the singular experiences and turning points in the lives of individuals and communities, while revealing the nuances of a fragmented era that is often disconcerting, sometimes upsetting, but resolutely alive. Inspired by photographers such as Martin Parr, Bruce Gilden and Sam Gregg, he composes visual narratives that are frank, sensitive and sometimes ironic, combining humour, tenderness and off-beatness.

Dorian is currently developing several documentary series, with the aim of bringing them to life in the form of exhibitions, photographic books or narrative installations. His aim is to bring his projects to life in the form of exhibitions, photographic books and narrative installations. He is keen to bring his projects to a wider audience at photo festivals, artistic residencies and cultural events in France and abroad.
